Myffie Coady – Artist Biography

I am a self-taught contemporary Australian artist with a lifelong passion for art and the natural world. I first began drawing as a young girl after my grandmother encouraged me to sketch the flowers in her garden — a moment that sparked a lasting creative journey. Growing up in the Australian bush, I developed a deep connection to nature, which continues to be my greatest source of inspiration.

Flowers, animals, and organic landscapes feature strongly in my work, reflecting nature as both a place of beauty and calm. The bush remains my happy place, influencing the themes, textures, and emotional tone of my paintings.

I’ve held thirteen successful solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions across regional New South Wales. I’ve been fortunate to sell over 200 artworks and to receive sixteen art awards, including two Grand Champion Art Prizes.
